According to the General Manager of the International Area of Bodegas Félix Solís.
The General Manager of the International Area of Bodegas Félix Solis from Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real), Félix Solís Ramos, states "we have to be in FENAVIN-2005 because it is one of the most important wine fairs in Spain". "We see the Feria Nacional del Vino (National Wine Fair) as a necessity for the Spanish wineries", he adds.
In the same way, he has informed that buyers from the main English companies will, for the first time, be present at Feria Nacional del Vino, FENAVIN-2005, to be held from 9th to 12th of May in the Ciudad Real Trade Show Center, as announced during the 21st dinner of the Great Order of the Knights of Wine (GOKW) which took place last January at the Four Seasons Hotel in London.
The order was founded in 1984 by the ICEX (Instituto de Comercio Exterior - Export Institute) together with Spanish Wine Specialists from the British Wines Trade and it was created as a tool to promote Spanish wines. The GOKW's mission is to give credit to the people who, each year, stand out in an exceptional way when promoting Spanish quality wine in the UK.
The owners of Bodegas Félix Solís, who have already participated in the two previous editions of FENAVIN, explain that "FENAVIN is a good move as it is particularly focussed on the international area". That is why, English buyers who normally attend well known and reputed trade shows, like the London Wine Fair, Prowein or Vinexpo, will be present next May.
"FENAVIN dares attracting international customers and this worldwide character is what has captivated the English buyers who had not participated in the trade show before", Solís explains.
