Award ceremony in recognition of the work of the President of the Government of Ciudad Real, Nemesio de Lara, as the architect and creator of the National Trade Fair on Wine
The President of FENAVIN, Nemesio de Lara, has been honored by the Association of Sommeliers of Castilla-La Mancha and "Amigos del Vino" (Friends of Wine), for his work heading the National Trade Fair on Wine, as the architect and creator of this trade fair dedicated to promotion and commercialization, as is likewise the case with España Original.
The award ceremony has been hosted this morning at FENAVIN, which is taking place in Ciudad Real from May 10th to the 12th, with the ceremony having been organized by the Association of Sommeliers and "Amigos del Vino" of Castilla-La Mancha.
After thanking the association for the award, Nemesio de Lara also recognized the work carried out by these professionals, requesting of them that, from their work posts, which are highly based on contact with the public, to democratize and popularize wine so that, without losing quality, it can reach each and every last citizen.
The other awards that were given out this morning were for Víctor Martín Manuel Buitrago, Director General of "Convento de Lillo" (Toledo); Miguel Castilblanque, of the winery Bodegas Castilblanque in Campo de Criptana; Rafael Díaz Salazar, in recognition of a life dedicated to the promotion of the wines from Castilla-La Mancha; and Adolfo Muñoz (Restaurant Adolfo, in Toledo) for his fine work transmitting the region's gastronomic culture.
