The National Trade Fair on Wine (Fenavin) has been the chosen frame to present "Culture and Wine", an initiative of 'Cultural Albacete' at which culture and wine will be combined in a novel and modern way.
The initiative was presented by Ricardo Beléndez, Director of 'Cultural Albacete' and Manager of the Theatre-Circus, at a press conference held at FENAVIN; along with Miguel Lucas, in representation of the Provincial Government of Albacete and Miguel Angel Flores, Director of the wine tasting course.
The activity takes the word food pairing as its basis, which is the union of food products and wine, but also the union of culture and wine, thus the reason why during the month of May the Albacete Theatre-Circus turns into the best possible space to combine these elements from the world of "Culture and Wine", Ricardo Beléndez explained.
This activity is pioneer and unique in the theatre world. The Theatre-Circus, as a gate of union between wine and the public, which for the third consecutive year will undertake the enterprise to bring an element that is essential for the region, as is wine, into play but from a differentiated point of view, avoiding traditional means that to date had been used to promote and enhance wine, by means of conferences and by offering concerts that include wine tasting, pairing of tapas with Albacete wines and offering the general public an extensive wine tasting course.
The Conferences will take place on Mondays, May 11th, 18th and 25th, at 20:00 hours at the Pepe Isbert Hall of the Theatre-Circus.
