The 'engines' of the Trade Fair
The keys to the success of "the wine trade fair of reference of the national wine sector", as it is defined by the national media and the specialized press, will be the Business Center, the Wine Gallery and the Business Searcher, three tools that aim to optimize relationships between the purchasers and exhibitors.
Two important programs to facilitate contact between the purchasers and exhibitors will be handled from the Business Center: one is basically aimed at the exhibitors requesting meetings with importers, while the objective of the "Contact with Exhibitors" program is that international and national purchasers that are present at FENAVIN can prepare their work agendas.
In as far as the Wine Gallery is concerned, it represents the Trade Fair's great showcase, as most of the brands that the exhibitors have on display in their stands, which this year will be close to 1200, can be found in the gallery.
Its main objective is that professional visitors will have a comfortable and calm space where they can try out the wines they are interested in without having to visit all the different pavilions, thus first trying and selecting the products they find the most attractive.
With regards to the Business Searcher, this tool, accessible from both the trade fair's website, as well as from the computers that are distributed in the different pavilions of the Fair Grounds, will allow all those interested in purchasing wine to make a precise selection of their objectives. In this manner any purchaser who has recently arrived at the trade fair can optimize their time by first selecting the objectives through the comprehensive information that is available about each one of the wineries, first trying the wines that interest them before going to the actual corresponding stands.
Important national and international names at the trade fair's activities
In addition to all this, more than sixty parallel activities are contemplated, organized in collaboration with other associations and professional organizations that are representative of the sector, which will verse on wine and sports; wine and health; wine and culture and wine and communication, amongst others.
These activities will count with the presence of prestigious figures from the world of wine such as John Radford, José Peñín, Federico Castellucci, Robin Goldstein or Pancho Campo; journalists of recognized prestige such as Paco García Caridad, Roberto Gómez, Luis del Val, Juan Manuel Bellver or Javier Rioyo. There will also be actors such as Manuel Galiana, Paco Valladares and Concha Cuetos; great writers such as José Manuel Caballero Bonald, Almudena Grandes or Luis García Montero; designers such as Roberto Verino; representatives of the judiciary and lovers of wine such as Andrés Sánchez Magro or Emilio Valerio; great enologists and sommeliers such as Ignacio de Miguel, Álvaro Palacios, Miguel Ángel de Gregorio or Custodio Zamarra ; important chefs such as Santi Santamaría or Martín Berasategui… In short, a tour through the richness of the world of wine at the most important trade fair on Spanish wine.
