At the Award Ceremony for the winners of the 3rd National Championship of Restaurant Professionals and Awards to the Promotion of Quality in the Restaurant Trade
Last evening Victoria Sobrino, Vice President of the Provincial Government, highlighted the contribution of the National Federation of Restaurant Professionals to FENAVIN, the same within the frame of the activities that are taking place in parallel fashion to the trade fair. The Vice President, who was accompanied by María Fresneda, Deputy of the Regional Government, assured that this institution is highly contributing to the event. "Thank you for your enthusiasm, color and professionalism", Sobrino said.
Sobrino and Fresneda participated in the Award Ceremony held for the winners of the 3rd National Championship of Restaurant Professionals and Awards to the Promotion of Quality in the Restaurant Trade, reason why the Vice President congratulated all the laureates during her intervention.
Sobrino also took advantage of the situation to share the table with the Federation's President, Mariano Castellanos and with Teófilo Arribas, President of the Provincial Association of Hotels and Restaurants. Given that all the laureates on this occasion were men, she encouraged all women in the sector to put their stakes on training and instruction with the aim of winning awards.
On his part Mariano Castellanos highlighted the level of professionalism that the restaurant professionals are displaying, confessing his love for the profession. A profession that he has been exercising for more than forty years, announcing that it is quite possible that he will not be presenting himself to reelection, although he hopes that whoever takes over the baton will do so with stamina and fortitude, to continue working in favor of the collective.
In another order of things, Castellanos underlined the personal and professional figure of Ciudad Real's Provincial President and likewise President of the National Trade Fair on Wine, Nemesio de Lara. He said that there is no doubt whatsoever that the National Federation of Restaurant Professionals will always be ready to collaborate with him.
On the other hand he also explained that the federation has foreseen promoting the National Championship of Restaurant Professionals so that more people will participate in the same, apart from also undertaking the international championship, at which they will be participating to establish contacts with more countries in Latin America and in countries such as Portugal, France and Italy.
