Casalobos Montes de Toledo 2004 was tasted this morning at the 4th National Trade Fair on Wine, FENAVIN 2007, the same in a Tasting Hall jam-packed to the brim due to the expectation caused by the presence of some of its illustrious partners, such as Fernando Hierro, Aitor Karanca, Rafa Martín Vázquez. Pedro Barato or Florencio Rodríguez, amongst others.
Ignacio de Miguel, the company 14 Viñas' Enologist who has just put his first wine on the market this autumn, Casalobos 2004, directed the tasting session. A singular and complex wine, in words of the Enologist, of which 50,000 bottles have been produced, first fruit of a 19 hectare crop, Castilian-Manchego Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Tempranillo vineyard, found in the municipal term of Picón (Ciudad Real).
With Casalobos "a truly wondrous work of maturing has taken place, turning it into a very attractive wine to the nose, dense, with magnificent balance", underscores Ignacio de Miguel.
