A thousand purchasers from 32 countries and another 1500 national purchasers are expected during the trade fair

The first international purchasers took over Fenavin’s Business Center yesterday

A clear vocation of professionalism for the sector, which is what FENAVIN has wagered on, with clear international projection to promote the Spanish wine offer and to continue improving the event are indeed rendering results since the trade fair opened its doors this morning. This has been more than verified at the National Trade Fair's Business Center, which early this morning started to welcome delegations of importers from Japan, United States, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, France and Mexico.

Up until now approximately 280 importers from these countries have arrived at FENAVIN, personating themselves at the Business Center, located in the ENEO Pavilion, and which is configured as an ideal space of privacy for importers and Spanish wineries that are in search of bringing their positions together, reaching commercial agreements and making our wines known in every single last corner of the world. Altogether, this is an operational center that offers a wide range of services aimed at the exhibitor so that the same can start and consolidate their presence on international markets, with the support of technical and human means that favor and insure that their commercial operations will be possible.

Many other delegations and importers, mainly from Nordic countries, have continued to arrive throughout the day. It must be taken into account that, on the one hand, 415 international purchasers from 32 countries are expected, all handled by the organization itself. While on the other, apart from those already mentioned, delegations from countries such as Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, United Kingdom and many others from all the continents, except Australia, are also expected. In that pertaining to international purchasers arriving on their own, it is expected that approximately 500 will also be visiting FENAVIN, thus reaching the objective that stood at 1000 international purchasers.

The Business Center

Already FENAVIN is an international referent that must be visited, the same within the frame of one of the most important viticulture regions in the world. In previous years, FENAVIN had already reached surprising figures in that referring to presence of international and national purchasers, and likewise in commercial contacts. The objective of this trade fair on wine is to continue working along this line of promotion and winning-over of importers, increasing their number in this fourth edition.

The Business Center counts with a common use area with Internet and printer connections: rest and reading area: offices for negotiation of agreements; coat check; trilingual English-German-French hostesses; fax-photocopier; technical and internationalization assistance for companies (customs, transport, payment methods, documents, negotiations, contracting, amongst others) and control of exhibitors, importers, distributors, specialized press, foreign agents and guests at this new FENAVIN.
